Scores from both the home version and the test centre are accepted at almost all universities that administer the TOEFL iBT.

Even when they accept it since they already mention the TOEFL iBT test, not all colleges explicitly list the TOEFL iBT Home Edition on their website.

TOEFL Eligibility

• The candidate must have 10+2 levels of qualification from a recognised Indian board.
• There is no minimum age required to take the TOEFL exam.

Exam Types

There are three types of TOEFL iBT the test available:

• PBT– Paper-based Test
• CBT –Computer based Test
• iBT – Intenet Based Test

Currently TOEFL iBT completely displace CBT. And it’s the most common type of examination.

TOEFL Acceptance

• Most of colleges that administer the TOEFL iBT accept outcomes from both the home edition and the test centre in equal measure.
• Even if most accept it, not all colleges specifically provide the TOEFL iBT Home Edition on their website because they already list the TOEFL iBT test.

Understanding the TOEFL score card

The TOEFL score is:

• Fair and unbiased results from centralised scoring networks
• A reliable indicator of a student’s aptitude is based on how well they perform in the real classroom.

Four scaled section scores as well as a total score will be given to you:

• The score range for each section is 0 to 30.
• The total score will be added from 0 to 120.
